Ipeleng flies the flag

My Neighbour, Ipeleng, came to me a few weeks ago to say she wanted to make a dress that looked like the flag and could I take her to buy material with all the colours of the flag.

While looking through my material box to see what I did have,  I found material with the flag printed on it.  Ipeleng luckily had someone she knew who could sew, because this was not my forte.

She came around last week to show us the final result. Josephina and I declared it to be a great success, and Josephina offered to find material to sew some straps on it for the summer.

Ipeleng has worn her dress on all the days that Bafana Bafana were playing in the  World Cup

Ipeleng looks very chic! Recently I saw a SA flag made up of shwe shwe in the various colours... gorgeous!
